"A person is never perfect until you fall in love with them ..."
That's what a friend told me a while ago
I understood what she meant,
but still didn't know just how right she was
I usually fell in love with those stupid guys
who were sure to break my heart
into hundreds of pieces in less than a year
For some reason I fell for what they were - dangerous
but that wasn't really what I wanted or needed
I know that now, thanks to you
You are the opposite to all those guys
You are kind, gentle and sweet
Caring and loving, you've swept me off my feet
Some people have said that they don't understand
how I can love someone like you
You're not good-looking or "Prince Charming"
What they'll never see or understand is that you are,
just not to them, but to me you are
and I wouldn't change a single thing about you
A friend taught me something important a while ago
I understood what she meant,
but not until now do I know exactly how right she was

President Katniss and the One-Hundreth Games
The day I didn't volunteer for my sister Prim was not the worst, not the best day, but surely a turning point in my life. I wonder what would've happened if I had volunteered...
Now's not the time to dwell in the past. I get up from my desk in the president's mansion and grab a cream colored envelope out of a white flowered box. The paper is stiff, like it had only been handled once.
I shuffle out onto the balcony, and stwagten my dress. When I feel the cameras turned in my direction, I plaster a fake smile on my face and wave half-heartedly. I raise the paper up so I can open it and read the small cursive writing on the inside. I clear my

Pale.
Silvery.
Soft.
Secretive.
Utterly silent.
The moonlight filtered through the heavy atmosphere as if it were a solid thing, somewhere between a wisp of translucent, glittering silk and thick, lustrous honey of crystalline silver.

The Confusion of Love PT. 2
Mir stepped back and gave a weak smile as he watched Joon pull Savannah into his arms. He closed his eyes as fear and anger started to knot up inside the pit of his stomach, but soon his anger masked over with an enthusiastic mood change. He didn't want Savannah to know that he was still upset and he didn't want Joon to start dating her. But he wanted her to be happy. He needed her to be happy.
Smiling again, Mir staggered from the sitting room into the studio. Stopping the in the doorway he let out a long, painful sigh before the others followed him into the room. Scratching his head and trailing his fingers through his thick hair, Mir look
