Light

A single beautiful light
that shines upon the sky
Feeling the chill in the night
knowing the stars won't lie

Crying myself to sleep
thinking about your warm breath
Knowing my feelings are too deep
and are bringing me slowly to death

Letting go of it all
Wishing the night to end
Finally ready to fall
deep into the arms of a friend

Going through an endless fight
right under the shining moon
Filling me with so much joy and bright
that death never can come too soon

Darkness awaits in my heart
your voice like an angel sighing
Wondering when the day will start
The light is slowly dying
