I reach out to grab your arm. Before I can actually get a grab of your arm, I touch your skin. A slight touch and I feel the burn. The burn that always occur whenever I feel your warm body brush against mine. Feeling the redness cover my cheeks I move my hand away from you and turn away so you won't see me blush. Did you notice the difference in the air? Did you hear my inhale when I felt the burn? I sure did, since nothing else matters when I'm around you.
Close your eyes, give me your hand, darling
Do you feel my heart beating?
Do you understand?
Do you feel the same?
Am I only dreaming
Is this burning an eternal flame?

That's when you start to give up... by IdaSkoog, literature
Literature
That's when you start to give up...
When you try your best
Trying every single time
but still it turns out wrong
in some way, no matter
what you say or do
That's when you start to give up
When you constantly smile
to make other people happy
because seeing them happy is great
When that happiness isn't there
and you feel that there's nothing more to give
That's when you start to give up
When you always try to stay positive
believing and hoping that everything
will go back to normal if you just keep trying
But when you don't see a change
you realize it's not worth it
That's when you start to give up
When you find yourself crying
with your arms wrapped around
Crossing my fingers
Looking up at those fireworks
This time I swear I'll do everything
This time I swear I'll keep those promises
Giving a promise for new year is a tradition
Not keeping them is also a tradition
It starts good, I'm keeping the promise
I made for myself and I am proud of it
Then as the days keeps coming
I don't really keep the promises
They are there, in the back of my head
but I don't care about them anymore
As the year goes by, I forget all about the promise
and then it's New Year again
Time for a new promise
that I sure enough won't keep
The clock rings
The year is over
a new one is here
And I am alive a
A person is never perfect until..... by IdaSkoog, literature

A person is never perfect until.....
"A person is never perfect until you fall in love with them ..."
That's what a friend told me a while ago
I understood what she meant,
but still didn't know just how right she was
I usually fell in love with those stupid guys
who were sure to break my heart
into hundreds of pieces in less than a year
For some reason I fell for what they were - dangerous
but that wasn't really what I wanted or needed
I know that now, thanks to you
You are the opposite to all those guys
You are kind, gentle and sweet
Caring and loving, you've swept me off my feet
Some people have said that they don't understand
how I can love someone like you

People always wish for weird things during Christmastime. It could be money, a trip or just that special shirt that everyone else around you already wears. If you are a child you usually wish for something stupid, something you'll play with for a few days and then get tired of. Some people wish for a Christmas miracle, like peace or happiness or that your boyfriend will come back to you and dump that new girl of his. That's nothing close of what I'm wishing for. I have one single wish this Christmas and I know a fat guy called Santa Claus won't be able to help me this time.
The only wish I have this Christmas is for my mom to get better.
Calling out
Calling out for you
Can't you hear me?
Don't you want to hear me?
Please, baby, please
I'm right here, why can't you hear me?
Begging on my knees
Begging on my knees right in front of you
Can't you see me?
Don't you want to see me?
Please, baby, please
I'm right here, why can't you see me?
Touching your cheek
Touching your cheek so softly
Can't you feel me?
Don't you want to feel me?
Please, baby, please
I'm right here, why can't you feel me?
I hear your whispers,
so why can't you hear my whispers to you?
I see your tears,
so why can't you see my tears?
I can feel your touch,
so why can't you feel mine?

Always keeping those promises I made
Smiling that happy smile people expect me to smile
Controlling my temper and never getting angry about stupid things
Being that perfect little daughter they expect me to be
Getting the best grade I can and always behave
Laughing and enjoying life as it is
You know what?
This isn't me at all
And I don't think it'll ever be
People expect this of me
and I can tell you one true thing;
They are wrong about me!
I'm not keeping all the promises I make, because I'm only human
Smiling all the time won't make everyone around you happy
Controlling my temper is probably the hardest thing ever and gettin
